Administrators

Principal: Jason Pope

Pope has worked in education for more than 20 years and has been an administrator for the last 12 years. He began teaching music in Virginia but began his Kansas City career as a music instructor at the Kansas City Kansas Community College. After working in higher education, Pope worked as a music teacher in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph and in the Excelsior Springs School District. Pope later served as a principal in the Decatur Public Schools, where he began a program to feed families in need. 

Pope received his bachelor’s degree from Millikin University and his master’s degrees from Park University and George Mason University. He is currently completing his doctoral degree from the University of Illinois. 
 

Assistant Principal: Dr. Sarah Sieminski

Dr. Sarah Sieminski began her Park Hill journey as a kindergartner at Prairie Point Elementary. She also attended Plaza, Congress, and Park Hill High School. After graduating from high school, Dr. Sieminski got her Bachelor's in Communication and Master's in Elementary Education from Truman State University.

She started her teaching career at Chinn Elementary. There she taught kindergarten, third grade, and fourth grade. She earned her Education Specialist in Administration from William Woods University in 2018 and completed Park Hill School District's aspiring leaders cohort in 2019.

During the 2018-2019 school year, Dr. Sieminski was the assistant principal at Line Creek Elementary. Dr. Sieminski joined the Southeast family in July 2019. She also earned her Doctorate in Administration from William Woods University in 2021.
